Her work mapping the ocean floor and was foundational for understanding continental drift and the 1960s geological revolution

My favourite astronomical objects are: the Antennae galaxies!

These two spiral galaxies started to interact a few hundred million years ago and are now colliding making a starburst galaxy! They are one of the nearest and youngest examples of a pair of colliding galaxies.

I love the Earth! This is such a cool combination of multiple fields, space physics, geophysics and even paleoanthropology. The modeling is just absolutely gorgeous too.

The Power of a Fish

Interesting and uplifting read, it's always a positive to me when scientists at large take into account and work with the people who actually live locally. I read recently somewhere that we need to stop acting like humans are inavsive or inherently bad for the planet and remember that we are also meant to be on the Earth we are part of the ecosystem we just have to start acting like it which is something that is underlined in this article.
